At VEA Road Maintenance & Civils (VEA Roads), we believe that true impact goes beyond the roads we build; it’s about the lives we touch along the way. Recently, we were proud to support a volleyball skills day for learners across Cape Town, bringing together fun, fitness, and community spirit.

The day was filled with excitement. Learners were taught volleyball by professional players, who shared their passion for the sport and inspired our young participants to dream big, stay active, and work as a team. The joy on their faces was a powerful reminder that sport is not just about competition; it’s about connection, confidence, and community.
To make the day even more special, everyone was treated to a delicious boerewors roll and a packet of goodies, lovingly sponsored by VEA Road Maintenance & Civils (VEA Roads) and Avril Butler and family.
The event was beautifully supported and served with care by Anne Siroky and the Western Cape Community Care team, who made sure every learner felt seen, appreciated, and valued.
At VEA Roads, we’re passionate about giving back to the communities we serve. Whether it’s through infrastructure that connects people or initiatives that uplift and empower, our goal is to build stronger, healthier, and more connected communities across South Africa.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this event possible, the coaches, volunteers, and sponsors who brought joy, teamwork, and a touch of love to Cape Town’s young learners.
Together, we’re paving the way for brighter futures, one serve, one smile, and one road at a time.
